Stories by the Fire sock set

Main color: Stories (100g, 437 yards/400 meters, 4-ply)

Complementary color: By the Fire (20g, 87 yards/80 meters, 4-ply)

Shield Sock base: 75% superwash merino wool/25% nylon, fingering/sock weight. 

Care: Gently hand wash in cool water with a wool-friendly detergent. 

Each skein of Painted Fern yarn is hand dyed and then carefully washed and rinsed. It is possible for color bleeding to occasionally occur, especially with deeply saturated colors, though I do everything in my power to minimize those occurrences. Due to the nature of hand dyed yarn, each skein will be different. If you would like to avoid possible striping or color pooling, alternating skeins as you work up your project might be helpful.
